We are now calling for abstracts for the Victorian Biodiversity Conference 2024.

We invite submissions from industry, local councils, government, academics, students (Honours, Masters, and PhD), NGOs, Not-for-Profits, and ecological consultants working on Victorian biodiversity.

This year, abstract submissions will be an open symposium with a focus on encouraging presenters from a diverse range of organisations, and we encourage a wide variety of talks across terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments, related to both local and nation-wide issues.

There are four types of presentations on offer:

  • Full-length presentation (15 min slot with 10 min presentation + 5 min questions)

  • Speed talk (5 min slot with 3 min presentation + 2 min questions)

  • Poster presentation (dedicated poster session during the 2-day conference)

  • Speed talk + poster combo

Submit your abstract here

Abstract submissions will close on Friday 27th October 2023.

All authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission by Friday 10th November 2023.

Tickets will also be available to purchase from early November.

We can't wait to hear about your work!

We honour Elders past and present whose knowledge and wisdom has ensured the continuation of culture and traditional practices.
